This is a beautiful and colorful pearl oyster shell with a mabe pearl from the “Rainbow Lip Pearl Oyster” (Pteria sterna) that has been carefully polished to offer you a very special display or collector’s item. NOTE: Occasionally, shipping could take up to 3 weeks to get delivered. “Fish and Wildlife” agents may require extra documentation during their inspections.

These shells are all grown in our Sustainable Pearl Farm in Guaymas, Sonora, Gulf of California, Mexico, so they do not come from any illegal fishery but from an Environmentally friendly operation.

Out of every 100 shells that are taken to be polished, only about 30 of them end up being able to be offered for sale: these shells are thin and often attacked by drill worms that weaken it further, so they are not produced by the thousands, they are very special pieces!
